Some feedback on my interview at the Paris Embassy :

Appointment at 10am so I got there around 9.35am. They make you wait in line in front of the embassy, around 9.45 they let the people "in". You go Under a "tent" for a precheck (they check your bags, ask to turn off your phone, be careful as laptops are not allowed!), then you go to a desk where people put your paperwork in order. Then you go Inside the building, with another security check (this one is like at the airport). You will have to give them your phone, electronics, chargers, usb key, keys… They give you a number in exchange).

Then you go in, and you follow the line for visa and you wait for the first step :

I waited around 45 minutes, then you go to a desk and they ask to confirm name, phone number and adress. They also asked me for my passport, 2 ID pictures, Birth certificate, wedding certificate, police certificate.
After that, they make you go wait in another until your name is called. I waited around 15/20 minutes (it's hard to keep track on the time when we Don't have a Watch). My name was called at a window (you are not in a room alone, it's more like customs at the airport) and the "interview" began. First step, raise your right hand and swear to tell the Truth… Then you sign a paper to confirm that you are telling the Truth. The officer asked me few easy questions (when did you got marry, where did you meet, what was your husband doing in the UK, what is his job, do you have kids….) and finally the "Congratulations, your visa has been approved! Best of luck in the US!".

He said they will mail my passport within 2 weeks, with a sealed enveloppe that I cannot open and I will need to give to the officers when I enter the US. I left the embassy at 11.20am.
