My husband and I had our adjustment of status interview today. Word of advice, if you have a lawyer, make sure your lawyer comes with you to the interview. Our lawyer came and it was the best decision asking her to come with us. The officer we had was efficient, nice and respectful. He asked us questions based on the forms and how and where we met. We brought pictures from the beginning of our relationship that had details and dates on the back including our wedding/honeymoon pics, which he went thru. We had so many documents to back up our marriage and he didn’t ask for many of them. We were approved at the end of the interview. Just because we had a nice interviewing officer doesn’t mean they are all like that. So just make sure you bring all your documents and pictures to back up your marriage and definitely bring your lawyer. Also dress nicely and respectfully. Oh and you will be watched from the waiting room and as you leave the building. Wishing everyone the best of luck!
