Officer was very nice, not very knowledgeable with regards to K type visa and medical requirements USCIS Policies. Would help one to have the copy of policy manual pertaining to the requirements to the medical issue of having another done within the 60 day window prior to interview. Policy is very clear to read but not every officer will take the time to read it or look to see if what they are stating is incorrect. Ours didn't do this and sent a RFE stating that the medical was not completed by the panel physician in her home country. Which we all know that this isn't possible in order to get the K1 visa in the first place. There is no way to just skip the medical and still get this visa. Even though we actually saw the medical documents in our file in his hands. He was reading from them the expiration date from them. Then states we don't have it in a RFE. We knew that when he told us he would look into what we were stating that he wouldn't actually look and make the right decision. Easier just to RFE it and move on to the next case and make us wait and spend more cash to jump through another hoop.
