Honestly guys, after MONTHS of uncertainty and anxiety I am still a bit shocked at how easy my interview and just the whole experience went in general. I’m pretty sure I was the first to get interviewed so I didn’t even have the time to be nervous lol. As soon as I got to the booth the consul greeted me and asked me the following questions. (He took his time with each question and didn’t shoot them at a rapid fire speed)
- Who is calling you to the US?
- How did you both meet ? ( we met on an online dating app OKC)
- How did it all unfold ? (Our relationship)
- When did you first meet in person?
- Details of the trip
- When did you meet again?
- how did you get engaged
- what does he do?
- what do you plan to do in the US?
He only looked through my photo album briefly and didn’t check my big folder of screenshots.
He typed for like 4 minutes and asked me if I knew about my rights in the US being telling me I’m APPROVED and congratulating me.
PHEW! Word of advise : Don’t be nervous. I looked him in the eye and smiled and gave him genuine answers like I was talking to a friend. And it was a BREEZE. Goodluck everyone.
