Super straightforward. Don't bring electronics to the embassy - leave them at home. There are TINY lockers at security that will fit a phone. Bring duplicates of EVERYTHING. Bring a few different photos x 2 - the first set I provided didn't work for them, luckily my second option did (otherwise I would have had to leave and get them done again). My wait was not long. Questions were very straightforward. The hospital was delayed getting my medical records over to the Embassy due to bad weather (snow) - meant application went to Administrative Processing.
