Laboratory: We arrived at 6:45 and the laboratory opened it's doors around 7:10, we were 7th in line. They only let the visa applicant go inside. Before going inside the personnel was checking to make sure everyone had their passport, copy of their passport, and passport picture. Around 4 people didn't make it past the first checkpoint because they were missing one or more documents, the good news is that there was place that made copies around the corner so they left and came back. One inside, the secretary picked up the passports in the order we arrived. My wife was called in order and had to write her case number and doctor's name on the copy of our passport, then she was asked to sit and wait. She was then called (again, in order) to go do a urinalysis, then directly to go get blood drawn. Again, she was sent to the waiting area to wait to be called for the chest x-ray. After that, she was done and they said it would be sent to the doctor's office. She had the medical they same afternoon at 4:30 PM and the results had already arrived.
Medical:
My wife arrived 30 minutes early as instructed and the medical assistance called her 20 minutes before her actual appointment time. She gave the secretary all the required documents, then they took her height and weight. She was then asked to sit in the waiting room until Dra. Monica Caicedo called her, the wait was about 20 minutes and the doctor call her around her scheduled appointment time. The doctor thanked her for choosing her to do the medical exam and then proceeded to ask her some medical history questions. Then she did a hands-on physical examination. My wife has all her vaccines, so she was instructed to wait 3 hours for medical packet. We opted to go pick up the results the following day since we were staying at a hotel a couple blocks away and she didn't feel like waiting 3 hours.
