Ankara, Turkey | Review on May 25, 2019: | <3T&M<3

The process was very smooth. Petitioner (me!) was previously married and has 3 teenagers from previous marriage. The Interviewer did ask about the kids. Asked how we met, how long we've been together. One thing that surprised us was that the officer wanted original printed photographs! *shrug* but was overall fine with the printed ones. Approved!
The sealed envelope came ripped open all along one side. We had to send it back to Ankara. It took hours to get through to the right person to handle this matter (just called the Embassy directly). The second envelope came ripped as well! I called the San Francisco Airport's Immigration Dept and asked them if a 4 inch rip was acceptable. They gave me the number to the field office in San Fran who handles that sort of thing, i.e. when someone goes through with a ripped envelope. The man assured me that 4 inches is NO PROBLEM! The very worst thing that could happen is that the airport personnel would check for any missing paperwork and if there was missing papers then the beneficiary would have to go to the field office and "wait" until they figured everything out. Meaning Beneficiary would have to hang out in San Fran until an "interview" of sorts could take place to get all of that done. We went ahead and went through with the ripped package. NO problems!
Good Luck
