My AOS scheduled interview date was May 07, 2019 at 8 am located in Federal Bldg in Cleveland. We arrived in the bldg, 30 mins early. Had to wait until the guards signal us to start entering. Be sure to have your identification card ready because the guard is gonna ask for it. Then, you’ll get through to a body scanning machine. After clearing that, we rushed to our assigned room. Got in line, waiting for our turn and signal from the person inside the window. There will be 2 windows to accommodate you for that. And when it’s our turn, I handed him our appointment letter. We sat down in the waiting area. Waited for my name to be called. Went to the first window to have my picture taken and finger print scanned. Went back to the waiting area. It took us 15 mins before the consul called my name, followed him inside and went to our designated room to have our interview started. He asked first for both of our passport, and asked us to stand to do our oath. After that, he scanned my packet, asked for my husband’s copy of birth since he didn’t actually look through my papers. Anyways, I handed him the copy. And he started asking questions in the i-485 form. He asked my husband questions like my name. Birthdate, my parents name. And he asked me my husbands name and birthdate. He asked for our wedding date and venue. And our address. And he wanted us to tell him how did we meet. Then he asked me those “no” questions in the i-485. And that’s it. He didn’t ask for proofs and other documents. But since I had everything ready, I told him if he wanted my updated and newly signed letters from the bank and my husbands employment letter, and joint insurances. And he told me, it doesn’t matter because I had my packet completed with all the stuffs. He said that if I really wanted to he could add it to my documents. So I handed him the updated cert and letters. Then he told me, that if he get me approved that day, I’ll be receiving my card in a month. And he gave me a piece of paper saying that he recommended me for approval Praise God

P.S. I received my green card on hand last May 14th

Over all, it took me less than 3months to complete my AOS journey. Amen 🙏. To God be the Glory 😇🙏

Good luck and God bless to all AOS filers. Put God in everything that you do. And Pray Everything will go smoothly in your AOS processing. Just Pray. 🙏😇
