Arrived a couple of minutes before my interview appointment time slot, security were lovely and I was told to go to window 5 - where the calming presence of "B" waited for me. She told me to take a couple of deep breaths and calm down as she could sense my excitement/nervousness. I then gave her my passport (and old passport), she asked when I am hoping to arrive in the US, then got my fingerprints done before sitting down to wait.

I waited for around an hour (no clocks inside, but there is a water cooler, small room for children to play in, and a tv that plays the CNN channel) before being called to the interview window (they will speak your name over a loudspeaker/microphone). I had to raise my right hand and swear that everything in my file etc was truthful and was then asked a few questions about my husband and how we met, what he does in the US, what I plan to do, etc. The consular officer then told me everything was good, handed me my pile of papers that I had sent in a couple of weeks prior to my interview (as mine will all be electronic - no yellow envelope required at port of entry!), given a domestic violence pamphlet paper thing that they are required to hand out, and told that I will have my passport back within a couple of weeks, most definitely before my planned departure date. And good luck in MA!

Interview took 10 minutes or less, probably more like 5 but its hard to tell in the moment (lol). An overall good experience. Friendly staff.
