My appointment was for 1pm, the security guard said he could let me in after 12:30pm. After checking in my electronics at the security room and going into the consulate area, I was given a checklist by the staff and asked to take out the required documents from my folder and organize it according to the sequence given. Some of the items on the checklist were not on the online checklist; so I'll list down the items here if it can be of any help to anyone. After arranging my documents I was given a number and asked to wait. A few minutes later I was called to the counter and gave all my documents. The lady at the counter was courteous, and returned all the photostat copies of documents and only took the originals, as she said all the documents were already in the CEAC and they just had to verify them with the originals.
She also returned one of the photos and only took one. After that she told me to wait for my number to be called.

About 20 minutes later my number was called; and a different gentleman was at the counter. He returned all the original documents to me, took my biometric prints and asked me a few questions (not in this exact order):
1. Where did you meet your husband?
2. When did you meet face to face for the first time? (as we met online)
3. How many times have you met each other since then?
4. How many trips have you made to the US? How many times has he been here?
5. When did you get married? Did any of his family come?
6. What does he do for work? What do you do for work?
He then asked if I had any pictures. I had printed some pictures on A4 paper, one page for each time we had visited each other and another two pages with our wedding pictures, and some loose 4R pictures from our wedding album.
After looking at the pictures, and asking me some conversational questions, he returned them and said that everything seems to be in order, and I should get my passport back within 4 business days and wished me all the best.
The interview was very fluid and conversational, he even made some jokes so it was not tense at all, and probably took around 5 minutes.
It was, however, done just standing at the counter so it wasn't very private as others could hear everything I say too.

I was out of the place by 1:40pm. Overall pleasant experience.
