My AOS from a K1 fiancé visa interview was at the newer field office in Lawrence, MA (It is not listed on the drop down menu)
Interview: 30th April 2019
Me & my husband checked in at the reception just after 2pm, friendly receptionist, she took my interview letter & stamped it with a ticket number, we was told to go sit in the big waiting room & wait for my name to be called.
Around 40 minutes passed & my name was called, I walked over to the officer & she said just me to come through, my husband had to wait in the waiting room.
Went into her office, before I sat down I took the oath. She then began to ask me to confirm name, date of birth & asked for my passport.
She took my left & right index finger prints & a photo (god I must look awful on the photo as the camera was low & pointing upwards, nice double chin mugshot I bet LOL)
Then we went through my I-485 application, asking me all the no no no no questions & ticking off paperwork.
Then she said "so im curious, how did you two meet?" I told her: "through online gaming, on Twitch, a streaming website for mainly gaming" as I was finishing off that sentence, she she "Oh I know, because I'm a gamer myself" she was very friendly and It put me at ease.
She was finished typing on her computer & said all done! You will have your green card within 10 days.
I left her office, wished her a good day, likewise & I went to the waiting room to my husband, he stood up to go in but I told him she doesn't need to interview him! We are in total shock but a very good kind of shock!
Painless interview & so grateful.
