Our appointment went incredibly smoothly. We pre-purchased our parking so no worries about not finding a spot. Walked in, went through the metal detectors, then up to the 2nd floor for the interview. The security guard there was so nice! We were nervous and he used his good nature and humor to relax us. We checked in and were assigned a number. I think the number was for privacy purposes as we were called back to our interview very close to our scheduled appointment time.
The office was clean and organized, though the signs telling us where to go could've been a little better. Signs were also posted that we were not to use our cellphones, but I saw many people in the waiting area using their phones.
We brought our toddler with us to the appt and other people there did the same. None of the kids were unruly, but it was comforting to know that we weren't the only parents w/kids there!
Our IO was a nice, young lady. She asked my husband the bulk of the questions (I think I was only asked one or two things.) We had two binders with us with all of our supporting documentation but she didn't ask to see them. The interview itself was maybe 10 - 15 minutes. By the time we finished, she explained to us that she would hopefully get to finish her review of the case by the end of the day, we'd get our green card in the mail, and explained the removal of conditions process.
We rec'd our approval text and email that afternoon (appt was at 8:30am), and the GC arrived in hand one week later.
