If only the entire USCIS operated with the efficiency of the San Antonio office! She had her interview about 4 months after we filed for AOS. The interviewer was a nice young woman who although she was not Latina could speak Spanish and wanted to practice. Lucky for my wife since her English is marginal and I would not be allowed to translate. She asked us a few questions about how we met and after we talked about our courtship and how I learned Spanish in order to communicate with my wife, I thought she would swoon. She said, "How romantic!" and approved the AOS putting the stamp in my wife's passport. My wife brought along her wedding album and persuaded her to look at the photos so we had to take a few minutes to look through the album. She said it was lucky it wasn't her lunch hour as she wouldn't have wanted to look at the album but since it wasn't, why not? All in all, about as positive an experience as one can hope for in dealing with the USCIS.
