Everything went fine and pretty quick, the consulate is very well organized.
I arrived at the new embassy building at Devyankinsky, 8 at 7:30am, there were about 30 people in the line already, they started letting us in by 8am.
They forbid to bring phones and smartwatches inside the building (along with other electronic devices and wires) and don't have any slots to keep it, so make sure you have left yours somewhere else. Once I got inside, I showed my passport and got a queue number. After about 20 minutes wait, they called me in to submit my documents, took only originals of marriage, birth, and police certificates. Then another wait to be called for the interview, I think it took less than 30 minutes. The officer was a nice guy, he asked when, where and how I met my hubby, why we chose to get married in Northern Ireland, where hubby lives and how long I spent in the trip to the USA, when we met. Didn't ask for any evidence or hubby's tax/employment documents. Then he said that everything looked fine to him, that he approved the visa and I can pick my documents up during 1,5 weeks. I left the embassy by 9:30.
