I went half an hour earlier and was let in. Then I went through a metal scanner, and they kept my phone. Then another person asked for my Passport and a photo. I gave them to her, she got me a waiting number and guided me to a waiting room. It looked almost like a bank in the inside. Everyone was super nice to me. I waited about 10or 15min.
My number was called and I was asked to give her my marriage certificate, birth certificate, my I864, my police certificates. They said they will check if they are the same as the ones I uploaded to NvC.
I let her know that I updated my police certificates because they were a year old (and in their guidelines it mentioned you should get another one if a year had passed). They said it was fine.
Then I let her know that when I filed my petition, my husband didn't have a job and we filled a I864a (my father in law cosponsored me) but that my husband had a job now and we had updated the I864 to show it. She looked through it and said it was good.
She said she needed the 2018 W2 (didn’t ask for other years) then she asked if I had any letter from his company saying that he was working for them and his salary. I had an original letter that said he was working for them but didn't say the salary and the copy of another letter which did say the salary. I apologized because the original letter with the salary hadn't arrived in time and she said the copy was fine.
They also asked for my medical sealed envelope.
Uhh I think that's it for documents. I asked if they needed the I864a or my cosponsors taxes and she said it wasn’t necessary.

Then I waited again for another ten min, and was called for the actual interview. She asked me to tell her about by husband. So i told her how we met, where we met (it was in ireland) she asked :"oh, so he's irish? " and i was like "no... He's from the states..." and she laughed and said it was a trick question lol
Then i started on telling her our story, year by year and she cut me off and asked when we got married. I told her the date, she asked where we got married. i told her, then i told her we also had a blessing in the states the following month. She asked for my husband's job. I told her. She asked for my husband's father (the cosponsor) job. I stuttered a bit cause i couldn’t remember the actual title word by word. I told her hwat I remembered and that i had a letter from his job stating his exact title and She said it wasnt necessary and that i was close enough.
Btw all this was in Spanish , which i was surprised about

Then she asked if I had brought pics, I said of course! And handed her some. Then she said she wanted to see some wedding pics. She seemed nice and smiled as she was looking through them. She said we looked very happy, and that he almost looked Spanish. I told her he actually was Portuguese descendant. She asked if he knew Portuguese, i said he had studied some in high school but had forgotten most of it. She talked about how beautiful i looked in the wedding pics and how pretty everything was. Then she said congratulations, you will get your visa in a few days! And I was super happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy javascript:emoticon('')
