First: My interview went well.
We arrived a little late and a huge line was already waiting to register. We waited round about 10 minutes then went through security and to the main room with much more people waiting in the inside. For my understanding most of them for Non-Immigrant Visa. When I wanted to pay me and a lot other people was told they had massive issues to pay with credit card. So only cash was possible or you run to one of the gas stations near by.
Then we get a short note that they allow you to skip the line (and let other people get really upset on you but it is what it is). The walk back and forth takes round about 40 minutes for fast walker or less if you really run.
I finally paid. Only a little bit later we got called to counter 21. The guy was very nice and asked some questions about myself. We sat down afterwards and waited to be called to the actual interview.
The lady called us. She was nice, asked a few questions about our marriage. When we started dating, where we got married and so on. Simple questions. She checked our finances and we got told that is more information than people provide usually.
It went well in total. She just didn't tell us she approves it. She said "she will most likely approve it". She gave us a letter "Your Visa is nearly approved" because she has to review all of it one more time but kept my passport. Then we left and felt odd.
We checked the status on Friday morning and it changed to "Administrative processing". We were shocked and confused.
I checked it again 3-4 hours later and it changed to "Issued"
My passport got processed on Tuesday to USTravelDocs and was sent the same day. I got it back on Wednesday - so within less than a week.
