Review Topic: K1 Visa

My appointment was at 7:30, I arrived at about 07:05. Two people were in front of me (the first one was in the wrong line I guess and the second one just wanted to pick up her passport), so actually I was the first person that got interviewed for an "immigrant" visa that day. I got my waiting number at 07:15 and went inside through the security check. They were actually pretty nice and not rude like some others said. In the second building I went straight to the first window where the woman took my passport and confirmed my appointment again. At first she couldn't find me and left to ask someone, but when she came back she told me that everything was fine. Around 07:50 I got called to the second window where the officer confirmed all addresses I put on the DS-160 and where I handed over my medical results (I brought it with me because I had my medical examination late the week before). "Only" 20 minutes later I got called to the third window for my actual interview which took about 5 minutes only. The questions were:
- Where did you meet?
- Did you start dating right away?
- What does he do?
- Have you ever been married?
- Do you have kids?
- Has he been married before?
- When did you get engaged?
- When did you last see each other?
- Where do you want to get married?
After that she told me that she'll send me home with the information that she needs a new letter of intent to marry and I got really confused and worried. Another officer heard her and came to help. She showed her something on our petition (my interview was only two months after the USCIS approval) and when she was gone my interviewer said she’d approve my visa and wished me a happy future in the USA.

I was out around 08:20.
