When you get off the 3rd floor elevator, you’re greeted by “Social Security Administration†signs and are surrounded by rooms with “hearing in progress†signs. Just go all the way down the hallway.
Photos and fingerprints taken at registration window. IO called the petitioner to window and asked for evidence of cohabitation (we gave her a couple of medical bills for stepdaughter).
Actual Interview was straightforward checking off questions on the application. IO was pleasant throughout process.
I think our interactions in the waiting room may have helped. My wife, her daughters, and I were joking around and acting like a family. They probably have cameras and the waiting room activity is a part of the interview.
