Appointment time 8:00 AM. We reached the Embassy at around 7:00 AM. We were let in at 8:00AM. All were directed to appropriate room to wait and to be called. Well, we waited and were called after an hour. A Bangladeshi lady took Original Marriage certificate, Police certificate and asked my wife to wait for the fingerprint to be taken. About 45 minutes later she was called for her finger printing. About an hour later she was called for the interview. In the interview, consulate asked her when and where the wedding was. How many people were invited? Where did we go for our Honeymoon? She looked at the pictures and that’s all. Visa was granted. 3 hours we were there, the real work took only 15 minutes and the rest of the time we were just sitting in line. I thought the process went rather smoothly in contrary to the popular belief. We went to pick up the visa the next day and were successful getting it.
