we both went to the US Embassy in S Korea for her interview. The KOREAN young female officer ( about 25 yrs old ) asked totally unrelated questions to our marriage such as "Why we didn't do this sooner?" They asked my wife "what my ex wife does for a living" non-sense questions. We answered truthfully, but the officer kept saying " hard to believe" She asked about my disability and medications i took. The officer asked to see the 601A and all the documents that led up to the approval from the USCIS so she can recalculate everything. Acted as if she was GOD. Then she said it was TOO COMPLICATED , hands us a DENIAL ( without a reason) and puts it into processing review. NOW WE ARE STUCK IN S KOREA, cannot leave to anywhere because they took her passport. She has no ID at this point. 2 weeks later of walking around in a total nightmare ( and i mean a really really bad nightmare) we miss our flight home. Then we call our local congressman back in the states, and he starts inquiring as to what, and why this was all happening. Online, it showed after 3 weeks our case just sat at the embassy. Didn't go back to the USCIS for review. THIS WAS SO EXCRUCIATING ! Then finally after a month, out of no where, it showed Visa Approved ! THANK God.... It was finally over. We were out of prison. All I can tell you, is they put you through HELL on purpose! Ruin any vacation that you think you have, and literally make you sick. My lawyer and congressman both agreed that the officer over stepped her boundaries of power and intentionally inflicted this on us......
