We received the letter of appointment for AOS a month before the set date of the interview, so we were given ample time to prepare for the much awaited interview  At the back of the letter are the things needed to take with you for the interview.
Enumerated are the things we prepared for our interview:
1. Up to date Medical Examination (med. exam. are good for only a year, so better check the date you first submit your med exam to them).
2. Affidavit of support (which we submitted already when we applied for the adjustment of status, so no need for that anymore.)
-unless, if you have new FEDERAL TAX INCOME statements, W2 those stuff, or if you are working now, and is receiving paychecks, better submit those as an update to your file.
3. EAD, AP and SSN
4. Original Documents of our Marriage Certificate, our Birth Certificates, Naturalization Certificate (citizenship)...I mean all the certificates you submitted from your application of Adjustment of support, they just wanted to see the original document.
5. Supporting Evidences of our relationship like, Bank Statements, Life Insurances, Medical Insurances, and of course pictures together.
We got there 2 hours early, in Suffolk USCIS, went to subway within the vicinity outside the building, then decided to went inside. When we get inside theres like a metal detector machine, like the ones we see from airports--removed our bags, cp, even shoes, then walked pass through the metal detector booth or whatever is that called :D. We registered at 9:30 for our 10:30am appointment. We got called at around 11:45am, so thats a lot of time waiting.
We were called by our interviewer and led us back to his desk, introduced his name and asked us to swore to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God :D
He then proceeded to asked for our ID's, my EAD/AP/SSN and made a photocopy of those--then our Original Documents for MC, BC, his Citizenship Cert, and asked us whatever documents we wanted to submit as a proof of our marriage, (bank statements, Med.Insurances, Life Insurance,.I also submit my paychecks from my work, and then pictures of us from our life together since I moved here to be with him).
*its surprising he did not asked for my updated Med. Exam, we spent almost $250 for that since Med Exams for AOS are not covered with insurances. But oh well, at least we got prepared just in case..hehe
Question we got from our interview .
1. He asked me "Where do you live?" , answered it pretty quickly and comfortably.
2. Then he asked my husband, "What is the date of your marriage and where?"---I'm glad we practiced for that one :D
3. He turned to me and asked "Where does your husband works" -- answered it
4. Followed by "Where is his second job" --of course I know :D
5. Last question "What is his work--working as what"
And thats it, he then asked question from my application of my I129f packet, which I thick that was from my DS160, thats the longest part of our interview, you just have to answer YES or NO.
After that he explained to me how to renew for my conditional Greencard, and the privileges it carries. He said I should get my greencard after a week .
Interview Question may vary from situations to situations, just be prepared and trust in your partner Godbless and Goodluck!
