The interview process in Frankfurt was very simple and smooth, and everyone was very nice.
From what I observed, it is much simpler to go without any electronics whatsoever, any electronics needed to be checked in, and we were able to go through security very quickly without any.
Our only mistake was not paying/"checking in" at the very beginning, which probably cost us an hour of just waiting. Once entering the large main waiting room, there is a reception desk that told us which windows to wait near and we thought that we were then in the pipeline. However, paying at the cashier window is what "begins" the process and starts the processing of the file.
After paying, the process took about 50 minutes in total. We were there for about 2 hours because we made the payment mistake at waited for about 1 hour with having "begun/checked in" by paying.
