Super nice employees at the consulate (Germans & americans).
very pleasant experience, i would describe the interview with the consul(female) more like a "sceptical Smalltalk" than an interrogation 
If you're well prepared, you don't have to be worried.
Questions asked during the interview:
How did you meet?
When did you start a romantic relationship?
How did it start? (asking if we were together in person )
When was the last time you saw your fiance in person?
Have you made any wedding plans yet?
Then:
Have you ever been married before?
Do you have any kids?
