Arrived at 7:45am for 8:15am interview. Called to first window at 8:15am. We were asked for her passports. Sat down for a few minutes. Called to another window asked for the rest of our papers(Affidavit of support, tax paper...). A few questions were ask to my fiancee(How we met, When I proposed...). We sat down again. We were then called to room 15. My fiancee's finger prints were taken. The girl who gave the interview seemed to be new. She was asking someone else questions about what she needed to do. She asked my fiancee again when we met and how. She asked more but they were in Spanish which I don't understand. I was only ask when I first came to Peru and how many time I came back. We did not have the document "CERTIFICADO JUDICIAL DE ANTECEDENTES PENALES". We applied for it, but was not ready in time for the interview. We were told to mail it in later with the passports and the visa would be processed. At 9:30am we were in the taxi headed home. The document and passports were mailed to the embassy the next day. The passports and visa were then returned one week later. Except for the missing document, the interview went much faster and easier then expected.
