Husbands appt was for 6:45am. Was interviewed at 10am. Said the CO was awesome and extremely friendly and supportive! Because my husband has children with another woman and classified himself as married on previous visitor visa application, they had to clairify that. He was honest and stated that he was never married before and explained why when asked. The CO gave him a blank paper and asked him to attest to that fact and then take another oath in writing that would go in the file. Then gave him a paper stating “before adjudicating your immigrant visa app, your case must undergo further administrative processing. We will notify you by either email or phone as soon as admin processing is complete. If you have not heard from us within 90 days, you can send us an email at... to request an updateâ€. Research it seems this is common and most get their visas after. Anyone know of this or experienced this before? Other than that, great interview overall!
