The interviewer was a friendly and cordial woman. She told my fiancee that she believed that she and I have had an ongoing relationship from the documentation that we submitted. She asked my fiancee if she was married before and she answered yes. She asked her how many times she was married and she answered that she was only married once. She asked her if she had a certified copy of her annulment with her, and she answered no. The interviewer told her that once she receives the certified copy of her annulment, she will run a check with the NSO in manila. She then told her to go over and pay the Delbros fee and to come back tomorrow (Dec 6th 07), to drop off her certified copy of her annulment, which she did. On January 5th 08, my fiancee receieved a text message telling her that someone from Delbros will be stopping by to deliver paperwork to her from the US Embassy. The courier arrived at 8 am on January 7th, 08.My fiancee signed for and received her package. She said a quick prayer before opening it. My phone rang here in New York shortly thereafter. My fiancee was crying hysterically. For a brief moment my heart pounded fiercely, and I thought the worst Had occurred (a denial), but much to my joy, she told me between her sobs, That her K1 visa was approved. It has been a long journey, but it is finally over, and we will be united! She will be arriving here in the very near future!
