ALL PRAISE BE TO GOD.
it is good to pray.
before leaving home i and my wife had a chat with some good laughs as we always do. i left my phone at home (you cant take in your phone, laptop, token, smart watch, flash drive).. you can go in with your car keys and normal watch, hold a pen regardless of what they tell you outside(you need it to fill your contact form). try as much as you can to go simple. make sure you look good (dress smart)
i got to the embassy about 5:40am, met alot of people already. went through security, and went through the intake process before the interview.
get ready to stand for a very long long time (3hrs to 4hrs) wear comfortable shoes.
documents: make sure you bring and photocopy all the documents that is required from you (get tax transcript make sure you meet the requirement). print out the checklist and tick the ones that pertain to your case. i would also advice that you do your medicals and have the result AT HAND before the interview.
bring as much supporting documents as you can (call logs, chats, etc)
i was called to the window conversation was as smooth as possible. they feed from your body language and response, so be smart and very confident

what does she do?
you know her family? do you talk with them?
let me see pictures? (try to tell a story from when you guy first met to the day she left nigeria, separate outing album from wedding album)
how did you cope growing in nigeria? (i am mixed race so he wanted to know more)
