My appointment time was at 8:30. I was waiting in the queue from 7:30. The embassy opened at 8:00. I was told to show my passport through the window, then I had to show my bag and it’s content. They told me to take off my jacket, turn around and show the bottom of my shoes. After that I was let in and put my belongings in a tray so they could X-ray it. I went through a metal detector like the one they have at the airport. After that I was told to follow the yellow line.
I came to a room with a lot of chairs and was told to go directly to hatch number 7. There was a very nice lady there speaking Swedish. She asked me for the originals of some of the documents I sent in earlier. She pointed out that she was not the person who was going to interview me. But she gave me some questions anyway. More of a small talk. She asked me to take a seat and wait for my name to be called out. It took about 15 minutes.
I went to the hatch just to the right of the lady I talked to at first. There was a nice male officer there who asked me to put my fingers in a kind of camera. He asked me if I was going to answer honestly and of the best of my knowledge and I said “Absolutely “. Then he asked me maybe 15-20 questions. Some of them the lady before asked. After that he congratulated me for passing and that I could expect to get my passport back with the mail within 10 days. It only took 3 days to get my passport and the envelope in the mail.
Very good experience. Nice people.
