I arrived at the Consulate General in Guayaquil at 11:00 in the morning, my interview was at 12:00. I got in line and had to wait about half an hour, then I waited in a room where they had different windows for another 30 min. They called me up to the window to take my fingerprints. I had a ton a supporting evidence for our relationship which they took, as well as my medial exam form and they asked me a ton of questions about my relationship with my fiancé, and about our engagement. Then, when I had answered all the questions, they handed me a green paper where there was information that I needed to read, (read what the papers says), and they asked me to take a seat. After 20 minutes they called me back up and they asked me what the green paper said. (PLEASE READ IT) Then they asked me like 20 more questions, they were the same question but they were asked in a different order. During the interview, I had two people asking me questions that the same time. One was sitting asking me the questions, and the other one was sitting behind him observing me. Its important to remain calm, and only answer the questions they ask, don't volunteer extra information, and above all else, be confident with your answers. After the interview, the consulate official, asked me to wait a moment. He verified all the information that I presented, then he told me that my visa had been approved and that it would take about 10 business days to receive my visa where I had scheduled it to go. (It only took about a week). Both of the people that interviewed me were polite and welcomed me, however they were both strict at first. Then they lightened up at the end of the interview and wished me a good rest of my day.) The interview wasn't easy and my fiancé wasn't able to attend because of school, but I was still approved
