The interview was a pleasant experience. My husband got there about an hour early, went through security, was asked for his civil documents and evidence before going to the next building where he waited about 10 minutes to get fingerprinted. He was waiting about another 20 minutes before being called to the window where the consular officer asked him several questions which were:
Where does your wife live?
What does she do for a living?
Asked about my son. His age, etc.
When did we get married?
What we did together on my visits to Algeria and dates I was there.
At the end he took my husband's passport and came back to the window and told my husband, "Congratulations, your visa has been approved!" They gave my husband instructions how to get his passport back and that was it. About 2 hours at the embassy and a very pleasant experience altogether.
