I was there on 6:30 am for my 7:15 interview.. all are asked to wait on footpath opposite to consulate building.. don't worry, just wait.. security guard will wave his hand to call.. he called at 7:00 and said that only immigrants stand in queue and we went inside after checking passport and appointment letter.
1) security check (don't take yr medical CD with u.. they will not allow u to enter with that)
2) 16 counters are there but directly go to counter no 1, there u will get token nmbr after showing yr passport and appointment letter and yr time starts now
3) Waiting for my token number and arranged the docs- passport, ds160, PCC, medical, birth certificate and one bunch for AofS- I134, w2s, tax returns.. when my number displayed on screen I went to the window where the guy took my docs and returned me job letter of my fiancee, pay stubs,bank statement and again waiting
4) After waiting for an hour or so my interview started.. An American aged between 35-40 was very charming and greeted me good morning and how r u.. he asked me to raise my hand to take oath then questions..
Questions:
- when did u meet face to face ?(it was the first question)
- so how have u been in contact with each other since then? I said WhatsApp
- when u first started talking and who introduced u ?
- where is she living right now and with whom ? I said - with parents the he - but who's there in her family, I - mother father brother, he - what are they all doing
- what did she study and from where ?
- why didn't u marry here in India ? I - didn't have enough holidays
- marriage plan after going there.
- can I see some pictures together ?
A long "Alll right then" he said and interview completed with a receipt.
About 9:45 I was out and going back..
