I wish to share with you my Biometrics and finger print experience today at the Milwaukee office. My appointment was at 11:00 am. I got there at 10:25 am and was allowed to go in. My husband and I were checked at the security check point. I was asked to remove my shoes, watch, earrings and any metal items I may have had on my person and hand to the officer my appointment letter and green card. I was scanned and directed to an area just adjacent to the security check point when I had to stand and wait for someone to greet me. I handed to the agent my appointment letter along with my green card. She took those documents and returned to me with a clip board and an applicant information worksheet to fill out. It ask for my first and last name, other names I have used including my maiden name, date of birth, country of birth, citizenship, gender, race, eye and hair color, weight and height. After I was done filling that out I returned to the area and waited as instructed. I was then called in to have my fingerprints and my picture taken. while this was done the officer said we just got to wait for this to finish scanning. I guess there is where they will find any criminal records. In my case there was none. I was given my appointment letter, applicant information worksheet, green card and a booklet to learn about the United States. I was told to expect a letter in the mail regarding the next step - my interview. The entire process took 10 minuets. The officers I met there were very helpful and pleasant. I was given a small form to give feedback on my experience and I gave them a good review. It was well deserved.
