We arrived for our appointment 20 minutes before our scheduled time and were quickly shown through the scanner and told to go to the second floor. We checked in at the reception and were asked to wait in Section E until a representative came to find us. We waited for approximately 15-20 minutes (10 minutes past our scehduled time) before a Phillipino gentleman came to get us and escort us to the interview room. The interviewer was very pleasant and relaxed. He made us swear under oath and then asked for our CA ID cards and passports. He went through our file and asked questions about how met, where we were married, how many people attended, how did it go when our parents met for the first time, etc. He asked for any supporting documents we wished to submit - we gave him some wedding photos and copies of joint credit card statements. He then looked through some photo albums we had brought with us. Throughout the interview he made us feel relaxed (as much as possible) and was very friendly. The interview lasted approxmiately 25 minutes at the end of which we were told that barring any unforseen problems our case would be approved that day and we could expect our notice of approval in 1-2 weeks and the Green card (permanent resident status) 1-2 weeks after the notice letter.
Overall our experience with the entire process has been a good one. We submitted all supporting evidence/documents with the original application and the process has been very smooth.
