It is with great joy, I am writing this to everyone. I hope it will be helpful to anyone.
I got to the US consulate around 6am for my 6.30am appointment yesterday December 21, I joined the queue at the entracne, few minutes later a staff there came to instruct us what documents they needed us to arrange. For immigrant visa applicants at the entrance was just invitation letter with passport photographs in our international passport. After the first clearance, a number 11 was given to me (please take note of your number, that is what you will address when called for interview). Please make sure you come with a pen to fill a small important slip that will be given at the first clearance. The 2 Nigerian women at the cubicle that are in charge of requesting original documents, international passport, the small slip and biometric are not friendly.
The American lady that interviewed me was so nice , she greeted me nicely and asked me few questions;
1. Who called me?
2. How long has she been in the United States?
3. Did she have any siblings, their names? Since my wife has only 1 sister, it was so easy to answer.
4. How did my wife and I meet?
5. Has any of us being married?
6. Do you have children?
7. Where was your wedding done?
8. Did you traditional wedding?
9. Asked for my wedding pictures, she just glanced through.
My visa was approved, given 2 papers, told it will be ready in 10 days. I met a cool guy "Game411" on the queue.
Good luck everyone.
