My appointment was at 7.30am at the US Consulate Mumbai. I reached at 7.10 am and was asked by the security for my appointment time. There was a huge line of people at the entrance but they were for non immigrant visas and O was asked to go forward and ask one of the officers to be let in. Once in and done with security I was led to an open space where people wait. Seeing I was K1 I was asked to wait separately and in 2 minutes I was led to the IV section of the consulate.
There I had to stand in another line to get my token number. Once that was done, I waited for my turn. An Indian guy asked for my documents:
1. DS 160 confirmation
2. Appointment letter
3. PCC
4. Birth certificate original and copy
5. Medical report
6. 2 photographs (2x2)
He asked me:
1. Who is calling you?
2. Have you been to US before?
3. Have you been to another country before? ( I had, so he asked how long have you stayed? It was less than one year so he said okay)
4. Have you travelled to other countries in Europe?
Then he asked for:
1. I-134
2. W2
3. Tax returns
I had a co-sponsor so I handed those documents too. My fiancé had changed his job a few months ago so I handed over the employment letter and last 6 pay stubs.
This was over by 7.50am. Then I waited for over 2 hours and around 10.05am I was finally called for the consular interview. Questions asked (not in order):
1. Why did you go to Latvia? (I was there for an exchange program)
2. What did you study there? (More questions about my degree and he even made some jokes lol)
3. What does your fiancé do? Where does he live?
4. How did you meet? Have you ever been to US? Did he meet you in Latvia?
5. Do you have pictures of you two together? (I handed him some pictures and in a group photo with my friends he asked me to point out my fiancé)
6. Do you have records of your conversation? (Handed him Skype log since when we submitted our petition. He went through it and asked a few questions from it, mostly casual, pertaining to some links I had sent there.)
7. Is Skype the only way you are in touch? (No, iMessage and FaceTime. Then he asked what iPhone does he have and what iPhone do you have lol)
8 Do you have a PCC from Latvia? (No as I wasn’t there for a year. Then he joked, have you murdered someone in Latvia? I smiled and said no and he was like, are you sure? He was smiling too lol)
He shut the mic and then talked to his colleague for a bit. After about 1-2 minutes, he said to me, it seems that your visa is approved. Remember about the domestic violence thingy and even though the media makes American police look bad, they are actually quite helpful. Then he handed me the visa approved slip and said have a good day 
I feel it was a very casual conversation and he was joking a lot of times. Just wanted to see my reaction I guess, but also I was the last person he was gonna interview there, at least for immigrant section so he was probably just having a nice chat. He made me feel very comfortable and I didn’t feel he was asking too much or that he was suspicious. I might have missed a few questions because he was really talking a lot to me lol. So except for the long wait, it was a good experience
