The embassy was not crowded as this was hopefully the last day of the visa crisis between the two countries (Actually it occured on his birthday and his flight was ONLY 2 hours into the ban so we met up in Serbia instead).
As described by others, I ended up seeing 2 COs. The first lady was nice and she spoke to me in Turkish. She asked me to hand in the documents they asked for. She also said "Please provide photos of your engagement party". I provided her with representative photos; I had more at hand. I asked if she needs any more. She said that was adequate. She was professional and brief. I think I waited with other applicants around an hour or so after this.
When my number was re-called, I spoke to an American lady. She was young and very very lovely in attitude. She greeted me good morning and asked me how I was. I asked her the same. She had a genuine and nice smile from the first second. I immediately liked her, I don't know why. (She was blonde haired and young, if you get her as your interviewer by luck, then you're lucky as she even relieved my excitement/nervousness with her energy).
Some questions I recall her asking:
1. When/where did you meet your fiance?
2. When did you start dating? Then, when did you get engaged?
3. Where does he live?
4. What does he do?
5. Did you meet your fiance family/ did he meet your family?
...
I don't remember any other, but they were similar to these, about the relationship timeline and the natural course of development of it I think.
I was really happy A nice encounter and finalisation of an ardous wait.
We can't wait to build our lives together.
