Review Topic: K1 Visa

Everything went simply and smoothly! Our appointment was at 9AM. We arrived around 8:45 and once given the green folder, we were able to cut every line. We joked that this green card folder gave us royalty treatment in comparison to those applying for a tourist visa there.

I am the US citizen and I was allowed to do the entire process with my Argentinian fiance. After he did his fingerprints, we were shown into an area on the left with a lot of seats. We were able to sit and remain comfortable. After some waiting (maybe about 20-30 minutes), we were called in where a female officer reviewed all of the paperwork. Everything was fine, and we were asked to sit outside in the waiting area again. We waiting for about another 40 minutes before we were called into the interview.

They only had one chair available, so we were told we can share it which was pretty funny. The officer was a male who was very sweet. He was definitely American and his Spanish wasn't the best. My fiance had the option of which language he preferred. He asked us questions about one another's families. He asked about m fiance's trips to the US and how much time I have spent in Argentina. He asked my fiance about where I went to university and what my job is. He confirmed my salary. He reviewed his medical records. And we were approved! We left before 11am.

We had a very positive experience overall and never encountered any issue or anyone negative. Great experience!
