My husband had his interview this morning and it was very quick. I assumed he would be there much longer, but his interview time was 8:30 a.m. and he called me at 8:51 a.m. telling me he was approved. First he went to one window where they took his fingerprints and collected the original versions of some documents (police clearance certificate, marriage certificate, his birth certificate, and my previous divorce certificate). Then he went to another window where he was interviewed by a woman he said was very nice. The interview was more like a conversation than a list of direct questions. She asked if his name was Elmer and if his wife's name was Courtney. She asked him how we met, what he did in El Salvador, what he studied at the university, if was going to study in the U.S., how long we have been married, if my family traveled to El Salvador for the wedding, when he proposed to me, what I do for a job in the U.S., what I studied at the university, where my family is from and that's it! She asked a lot but he was very prepared!! Over all it went very well and was quick. We're so happy it's over!
