What was the tone of the person conducting the interview? The lady conducting the interview greeted us and I felt she was treating us with respect. She was not super friendly but not rude either. I (the US citizen) attended the interview with my then-fiance/now-husband, and the interviewer thanked me for being there. She then only directed questions to my fiance.
Were the questions difficult and what sort of things were asked? They were straight-forward questions, such as how we met and how long we knew each other. I feel that the wait time to be called into the interview was longer than the interview itself.
Since it was obviously a successful interview, what did they tell you would happen next as soon as it was over? Towards the end, the interviewer told us that the K1 visa was approved and gave us general instructions to pick up the passport and visa in a few days.
