The interview did not go as I thought. The officer barely spoke English! Probably because the interview was done in California and the normal interviewee does not speak English? Not sure. We swore in by raising out right hand. She then asked us where we live, how much we pay a month, and for our evidence of intermingling of finances. She said all was approved except my spouse's medical as they expire after one year (Bummer, that was another $400) She explained that since California has so many people immigrating, that the process takes longer and most people have to get a second medical exam.
