I arrived early at around 7:45 and was directed to the line by the fence. They asked me to put electronic and metal items such as keys, phones etc. into a plastic bag and they kept my electronic keys and gave me a number to collect them with when I left. I was given number 5007 and had to wait a little over an hour to be called to the counter. I wasn't nervous waiting but as soon as I got to the counter a few butterflies turned up . I was asked for certificates and financial details. I had to provide finger prints and pay the visa fee. I was given a bar code and my x-ray and asked to wait to be called for the interview. I didn't have to wait too long for the interview and they asked me how we met and how many times I had been to the US. They also asked for a tax return even though we had provided pay stubs and an employers letter plus proof of my assets. He took my fingerprints again and then said you are approved and that the visa should turn up in a week. I then had to queue for the courier service which took around 30 mins. They were sharing one old print and sign credit card machine which slowed things up a bit. I got out of the embassy at around 11am.
