Everything previous reviewers have said about the process was accurate. My spouse and I have been together for six years and have the pictures to prove it. We got up to the window, was asked how we met, then told, "good luck in America." Friendly, supportive interviewers.
BUT we haven't been issued our visa yet. The police report didn't have my name on it for some reason so we have to fly back up to the north and physically apply for another police check in her hometown before they'll issue the visa. Will update after we return to the consulate.
