Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We had our interview for AOS (from K1) on Feb 1st 2017 at 2 pm. We arrived at 1:30, got checked in at the reception and waited about an hour before our interview. Our interview was with a white lady in her 30's, who was nice and polite, but nothing more. After swearing us in and checking our ID's, she double-checked some facts in our application, asked to see originals of my birth certificate and our marriage license (but didn't keep them). She also wanted to see my EAD and SSN cards. She did not ask anything from my husband (petitioner+sponsor), so she must've been happy with what we originally sent with our application. She asked if we wanted to submit any bona-fides, and we supplied a selection of pictures, proof of joint insurance, joint accounts and joint credit cards. I also gave her a thank-you card from our wedding, and she smiled at that. Since I had travelled on AP, she took a copy of my latest I94, my AP card and the Paroled stamp in my passport. Finally, she went through all the mandatory Y/N questions, which had my husband crack up (although I had warned him in advance). She was not pleased at that, and informed us that we were the only couple she would be approving today. My case status was updated to approved/card ordered a few hours later. Overall a nice experience.
