My fiancée had her interview on 9/27/16. With her was her 6,7,and 14 year old children. She brought with her a 3 inch full of emails we had exchanged since our first exchange on 1/1/16, Skype screen prints, photos of us together in Saint Petersburg, Ru and receipts for hotel and travel for both of us. While the interview conducted professionally, and he asked for two doc cents which she supplied within two or three day, the matter did not resolve in issuance of the k-1 and k-2s. The CO did not ask to see her evidence of our relationship and when she awhen if he wanted to see it, he said no. Two weeks after she returned home, she received a request for evidence of the relationship!!! This is after she had it at the interview and they were not interested in looking at it. After two more weeks of "intensive review", they decided to return her passports to her and sent a form letter stating that the case had inconsistencies and that the case was being returned to the approving USCIS office (California Center) for review and possible revocation. I have no idea what they thought were the inconsistent information is in our I-129F and her DS-160. I have compared the data in my 129F and her 160. I saw a couple of misspelled words and incorrect entry of her name instead if my name as her fiancée in the 160. Surely they didn't completely reject our case on such rival errors? From all indications, their decision to return our case will likely result in me either spending thousands more dollars for a lawyer or will conclude with a visa denial. My fiancée has a responsible job, with a college degree, clean police record. I don't have a degree (2+years), retired from the federal civil service with a 33 year track record and a clean police record. I am baffled as to why they returned the case. USCIS has 180 to render a decision AFTER they receive the case. Today is Nov 30th. I don't have much hope that we will get the visa. If this case does not result in a positive result by the end of Jan 2017, I am going to move to either Russia or somewhere in Europe and marry my best friend and fiancee. My country is letting me down.
