Showed up at the consulate at 8 am. Interview was scheduled at 8.30 am. Waited in the Immigrant visa line and was called after a couple of minutes. Showed my ID through the window, opened my bag so they could look into it, went behind the yellow line, had to take my jacket off and turn around, then show the underside of my shoes. Then I was allowed into the security area. A full screening was done,..just like at the airport. Keep in mind you are not allowed to bring your phone, your wrist watch, car keys, headphones or any electronics inside. They even kept the memory stick I had i my purse. I was told to follow the yellow line to the next building and go to window 7. A nice young lady asked me to hand over my documents in the order she asked for them. Then finally to put my name and address on the package envelope. Then to sit down and wait to be called for my interview. I waited for an hour before I was called to window 4. Read the pledge and gave my fingerprints. Then he started asking some questions,.. like; where did you meet your husband? Have he ever lived in Norway? If I have any children,..and how they feel about me moving? When I saw him last, and how we stay in touch while apart. The interview took about 5 minutes or so. Then he told me we were approved. Overall a good experience.
