Summary:
Only had one short 2 week visit with finacee. Wasn't able to make interview.
No problems. Got there only 15 minutes before schedule. Go to front of line and ask guard.
You get two copies of the same number. First time they call you to banker like window.
For us, they didn't collect pictures, phone/chats, resume, but it's required to have them.
Then you wait maybe 45 minutes? They call your number again for a short interview.
Remember, this is all conducted standing up in a banker like window.

Does he speak Chinese? If you answer a little, they will expect you to speak English. So maybe say alot?
So they continue interview in English.

You are approved. Here is confirmation letter.

Visa and packet received from EMS 9 days later. You will get SMS alert from EMS. Pay 59 rmb to EMS guy.
Don't open visa packet. Just open the plastic to take passport out and verify visa details.
