Wow I cant beleive this is finally over!

Ok here is my story:
I got to the Johannesburg Consulate at around 8am on the 20 September 2007.
I got inside and was called to the first window. I was asked for all of the doccuments that were required in the pack 3. The lady was very nice and helpfull. She made a pack for me and a seperate one for my daughter. She asked for my husbands divorce decree and I was not aware that I had to bring his, she said no worries and made a copy of the one in the doccuments that they received from the NVC.
I was asked to sit down.
About 15 mins later I was called up to another counter where my finger prints were taken.
I sat down again. About 40 mins later I was called up to the last counter for my interview. It was the same office that did my interview for my visitors visa last year. She swore me in. My little girl wanted to speak to her, she was nice and asked my daughter questions like:
What is your name? Do you like your name? Would you pick that name for yourself if you could choose your own name? What is your favorite colour? What games do you play?
Although I had preped my daughter for questions she might be asked about her step father and her extended family in America is was not neccessary.
The office then started on me.
Where did you meet? (I gave an in depth anwser and a story until where we are today)
where will you live in the states?
What does your Husband do?
What position does he hold?
What was the pastors name that married us?
Does my husband want to adopt my child?
She then looked through all of my photos and asked where most of them were taken and who everyone was.
She asked what was in my other file (the one that contained all the doccuments for the interview including emails and telephone records)
She asked for the emails. She read through them in detail.
My husband and I have been married 9 months, he is in the US and I am here. We got married when I went to visit him for 2 weeks. We had dated before that for 3 months in early 2006, and then he returned to the states. I have known him a little under 2 years.
The officer asked one last question:
Why do I feel that this marriage/relationship will last forever seeing that we have only known eachother a short time?
Wow she really drilled me and went in depth with all of the questions. I am glad that I got through it without a sweat though!
She said that provided everything is ok with the medicals, our visas were approved. (You hand the medicals in at security when you enter the building)
That was a Thursday. I was requested to return on the following Tuesday to collect them. They were not ready so I went back the next day. On Wednesday the 26th September I received our visas in hand. I also received the documents we need to carry with us to the states to hand to the immigrations officer at the POE.

On top of that stress I lost the ticket to pay for the parking at the mall!!! Lucky the lady was nice and took my word, and charged me the normal tariff.

Oh happy day!!! We leave on the 4th October for our new life in the USA!!!!

Overall - The consulate was efficient and friendly!
