I had previously made a review of the Embassy based off of the fact that my fiance and I waited almost 4 months for our interview. This is my review based off of the interview alone. My fiance' had his interview at 12:30, he got there around 11 but they would not let him in until 12:15. So don't plan on getting there early in hopes of going in early. They called his number, and he went up to the window. This CO was super nice. He started by apologizing for it taking so long for us to get an interview. He said our case somehow "fell through the cracks". The CO then pulled out our case, and he said "wow this case is really thick. My fiance told him he wanted to make sure we had a solid case. After that, he began to ask my fiance' questions. He asked his name, his parents name, and his information. Then he asked my fiance questions about me. He asked how we met, my fiance said "we met in an online game." The CO replied "really? Which game?" My fiance said "Battlefield" The CO kind of laughed and my fiance said "well you know what they say, love is a battlefield." Haha. Then he asked for our pictures. My fiance gave them to him, and the CO asked about a few of them. Mostly the ones with me, him, and his family. Just asking who everyone is. The CO asked him about my kids next. My fiance' told him I had 4 kids and the CO said "Whoa 4?" After that, he asked about the custody arrangement and child support for the kids. Then he asked my fiance for his affidavit of support forms. My fiance' handed him mine, and then my dads (co-sponsor). He asked my fiance who it was that was co-sponsoring, and his name.He asked how my fiance' got the papers for the affidavit of support, and he told them I mailed them to him. Then he asked if my fiance' had applied to come to the US before. My fiance' stated yes. He asked why he was denied (lack of ties) and asked the reasoning for his trip. He stated to see me. Then the CO asked him if he had a copy of my visas from my trips to Bahrain. My fiance told him yes, he actually has a copy of my entire passport. So the CO said that's perfect, and took it. He also asked how we heard of the visa. My fiance' told him I watch a show called 90 day fiance' and that's where we learned of it. The CO said "that show really isn't that good." lol. Then he had to go to another counter to be interviewed by someone else. That CO asked him, "So when is the last time you saw Lauren?" My fiance' said "Meghan you mean? Her name is Meghan." He said the CO laughed and said, "yeah Meghan." Lol. Then he took his fingerprints and asked him to have a seat. After that the first CO called him back up. and said "Well I have some good news, you're approved." Overall the interview went great. The CO's were very nice. The interview only lasted about 10 mins. Most of the times spent there was waiting. My fiance' left the embassy around 2:45 pm. If anyone has any more questions about the Embassy or anything at all, feel free to message me!
