Juarez, Mexico | Review on August 20, 2016: | Chico Malo

We arrived on a Tuesday on a flight from Mexico City to Juarez and checked into the Holiday Inn Express. It is right next door to a great Mexican restaurant Barrigas. Wednesday was my wife's medical exam at Medico De Visas. You can walk there but a van will pick you up. We were in and out in about 2 hours total, her exam was $190 and she required all vaccinations which was an additional $160. Thursday, we walked 8 minutes to the ASC which was 3 minutes past the Consular office. The ASC is a little hard to find but just ask someone where is the OXXO. It is a convenience store directly next door. She was in and out in about 20 minutes. Friday, the interview. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time of interview at the Consular office. My wife entered by herself while I waited outside, directly next door, there is many tables and chairs there. It took her a total of an hour an a half when she entered until when she exited. They asked her simple questions like; where and how did you meet? how many children do you have? how many children does your husband have? OK, you are approved. We now wait to have the Visa packet delivered to the DHL courier office here in Juarez, They will give you a paper where to track the delivery of it.
