The whole experience was a whole lot easier than what I had anticipated! I was stressing out before I got there as I had forgotten the 3kg Express Envelope, but the lovely lady, after she finished organising what documents were needed, she told me to just duck across the hall to a print shop which sell them and come back. Did that, then headed through security screening, they held onto my phone and sunnies, watch, documents and boots went through the scanner, then I headed up to the 59th floor, all the while being shown the way by security guards.
Went in took a ticket sat down, not even 5 minutes passed was called up to have fingerprints done, and then sat back down until number was called again, about 15-20 minutes I was called again, went to the window the CO, was so nice, asked me about 5 questions, never looked at my file once while I was in front of him. After the last question he asked, he picked up my file from the right of him, closed it and put it in another pile then said your visa is approved, you should receive it within a week!
All up I was there a total of about 45 minutes. My interview was for 8:15am, I reached the 59th floor at that time, but I was out and calling my hubby by 9am. Everyone was very nice and made you feel relaxed.
